    SUMMARY

    Fast paced and multi-faceted role that maintains responsibility for aiding the Advertising Manager - Vehicle Content and executing advertising projects regarding product content inclusive of vehicle imagery/photography, videos, computer-generated imagery (CGI) assets, and interactive tools. Content produced in this area is product-centric and speaks to Subaru vehicle specifications, safety, features, and benefits and lives across various Subaru platforms including websites, digital spaces, print materials, and screens. Leads the coordination of design, creation, and production of all materials with various internal and external stakeholders, agency partners, and vendors.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Assists Advertising Manager – Vehicle Content with the planning, development, and production of Subaru brand and carline materials, including but not limited to vehicle still and action photography, running footage, long- and short-format video content, product and in-vehicle technology awareness videos such as “How To” videos, interactive digital content and modules, long- and short-format print such as showroom and pre-launch brochures, posters, etc. Coordinates with manager using professional experience and knowledge to recommend ideas and plan projects.

    + Advertising Material Development:

    + Shapes and fulfills advertising production strategy and guidelines. Interacts heavily with ad agencies and marketing partner agencies on all product materials, both print and digital, coordinating multi-faceted details and timelines in real time under strict deadlines. Independently addresses matters that arise as needed that require quick decisions and decisive action.

    + Executes the production of marketing product content, including vehicle imagery/photography, videos, computer-generated imagery (CGI) assets, and interactive tools. This entails providing clear and concise creative direction to ad agencies and communicating effectively with internal teams to ensure that all pertinent materials are delivered as expected. Facilitates the review, accuracy, and compliance of advertising materials pre-launch with Legal, Risk Management, Product Management, Creative Services, and ad agencies.

    + Maintains responsibility for communicating timing and deadlines to all pertinent internal and external stakeholders. This requires precise attention to detail and independent analysis of which stakeholders need to be involved and how to move a project effectively to completion. Provides clear, concise, consolidated action items to appropriate teams.

    + Supports content that lives across various Subaru platforms including but not limited to Subaru.com; retailer sites; brochures; YouTube and other social entities; screens like Subaru TV, digital kiosk, and retailer TV content; and auto show content.

    + Digital and Information Technology (IT) Collaboration:

    + Coordinates backend integrations with Subaru IT and other teams as well as external agencies to ensure that the brand and carline assets integrate successfully. Serves as steward of the brand assets, creative, and messaging to ensure cohesive overall communication. Maintains responsibility for disseminating and ensuring compliance of all accurate language and materials.

    + Oversees the relationship with agencies and vendors to ensure optimal communication and performance on various projects. Clearly communicates strategy, direction, and deliverables to meet deadlines.

    + Helps to develop creative execution of awards and accolades (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety [IIHS], Kelley Blue Book [KBB], etc.), news, and emerging technologies by working closely with respective area managers and specialists for each project.

    + Maintains the Subaru Content Portal Hub (asset and video library) by ensuring that content is accurate and functional. Acts as a key point of contact for internal teams and agency partners and maintains access.

    + Ensures that vehicle brochures are accurate and available and optimizes efficiencies including inventory management, shipping direction and logistics, forecasting, and reconciling actual usage. Coordinates shipping and fulfillment for all auto shows with the Auto Show Team.

    + Global Asset Distribution: Facilitates and works with other Subaru entities for the usage of Subaru of America’s (SOA’s) assets and adherence to the memorandum of understanding. Works with the Virtual Garage program for a global approach for pricing of assets.

    Additional Responsibilities

    + Completes ad-hoc marketing requests or needs, including but not limited to:

    + Presentations, reports, miscellaneous projects, etc.

    + Works alongside the Advertising Manager – Vehicle Content in managing budget details and tracking sheets; reconciling Subaru and agency estimates vs actuals; and verifying the accuracy of all recoveries including cross-departmental charges and allocations, global asset sharing, and employee and retailer billings.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree required

    + At least 6-8 years of experience in advertising production, marketing, or a related field required

    + Advertising production and/or agency experience

    + Advertising production (photography and video production) acumen.

    + Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.

    + Ability to be responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

    + Strong attention to detail and organization skills.

    + Highly developed verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

    + Ability to work both collaboratively across teams as well as independently.

    + Ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization, including Executive team. Adapt at building relationships.

    + Creative solution-seeking and problem-solving skills.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    + Digital platform general understanding and experience with site designs, user interface (UI), user experience (UX), etc.

    + Creative and print production background.

    + Photography, content, copy, layout, and user experience acumen.

    + Ability and desire to learn about new vehicles, features, and technologies that are then translated into consumer education/marketing content. Ability to thoroughly understand the Subaru product line, as well as Subaru of America (SOA) national, regional, and retailer operations.

    + Adobe Workfront experience preferred.

    WORK ENVIORNMENT

    + Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)

    + Travel: 30% (International & Domestic)

     

    COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $83,000 - $115,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance. (Internal Job Grade: P3)
