    NDI Engineering Company (Philadelphia, PA)


    NDI Engineering Company is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support the asset recovery and reutilization program for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division.  This position is on-site at the Northeast Philadelphia Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Facility.

     

    Prior warehouse experience in a government setting preferred is highly desired.

     

    Candidate should be self-motivated and willing to learn and integrate in high-pace work team environment.

    Job Responsibilities

    The candidate will use perform the following tasking, including, but not limited to:

    + Provide equipment supportability analyses, warehouse support, and manage asset recovery and reutilization program for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division

    + Perform investigations and analyze used material to include disassembling equipment and identifying parts

    + Perform receipt, inventory, and induction of the Navy’s asset equipment

    + Support tear down, inventory, bagging, tagging, and packing of assemblies

    + Participate as integral member of ILS/Diminishing Manufacturing Sources Integrated Product Team (IPT)

    + Interface with DMS Program Management counterparts and local warehouse teams

    Minimum Requirements

    Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance.

     

    Target Education and Experience

     

    High School Diploma

     

    Prior warehousing experience in a government setting preferred

     

    Familiarity with Navy equipment for various USN systems desired

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office

     

    High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, suppliers, and visitors

    Physical Demands and Expectations:

    Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent periods of prolonged standing may be required.

     

    Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

     

    Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment.

     

    Primary work in non-office environment, may be in limited or unheated/cooled areas (Warehouse Atmosphere)

     

    Ability to lift 40-50lbs regularly
