Our manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, stands as a testament to the pet care industry's excellence. Nestled along the Historic Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma, near the borders of Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas, this facility has been producing a wide array of pet treat products and brands since its inception in 1997. As a Senior Materials Planning Coordinator, you’ll analyze material required to manufacture pet food products and convert requirements to orders. Manage inventory levels and ingredient rejections while reviewing production schedules in collaboration with Production and QA to determine material requirements and solve possible ingredient handling issues. Make an impact on our processes as you compile and maintain manual and/or computerized records of raw material inventories, status, and location transfers.
+ Utilize SAP TM to manage transportation of inbound orders and communicate with carriers regarding invoicing or other needs.
+ Use knowledge of product and manufacturing processes to review production schedules and collaborate with department supervisors to determine material requirements and track material.
+ Manage inventory accuracy at plant and outside storage, research any variances, and work with accounting to perform adjustments if necessary.
+ Oversee fresh ingredient process to ensure production needs and QA requirements are met.
+ Manage invoice discrepancies on raw material orders, reviewing GR/IR monthly reports.
+ Work collaboratively with QA, Production, and vendors to manage hold and/or rejected ingredients and solve any handling/quality issues with materials.
+ Help cover scheduling responsibilities.
Requirements
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 2+ years of experience with materials purchasing, inventory, or production systems in manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000-$67,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
