Job Description

Netbox Documentation and Population:

Populate and document Netbox with accurate and detailed network information.

Ensure all network assets are correctly represented and maintained within Netbox.

Bring in all necessary data, files, and configurations into Netbox as the primary goal.

Integration with Service Now and Other Tools:

Integrate Netbox with Service Now and other relevant tools to streamline network management processes.

Develop and implement automation workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

Network Automation Scripting:

Write and maintain network automation scripts using Python and Ansible.

Leverage Netbox and other tools such as Jenkins and GitHub/Bitbucket to automate network tasks and processes.

Develop scripts to push information into platforms like Cisco DNAC, using data from Netbox.

Skills and Requirements

5-7+ years of experience in Networking - In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, particularly Cisco and Juniper, across 100 sites, with 1/3 being critical sites.

2-3 years of experience with Netbox tools - Proven experience with Netbox tool, including documentation and integration capabilities

Strong proficiency in Python and Ansible for network automation scripting.

Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines and GitHub/Bitbucket for version control.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. SuzieQ/Batfish - Experience with SuzieQ and Batfish for network validation and analysis.

Cisco DNAC/Juniper Mist - Understanding of Cisco DNAC and Juniper Mist for network automation and management. null
