Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our Hydraulics, Small Production, and Testing operations. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing production activities to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a process-driven mindset, and a passion for team development and operational excellence.

With over 70,000 products in our portfolio, we play a vital role in industrial and defense readiness by delivering quality components with precision and speed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage production teams to ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met across Hydraulics, Small Production, and Testing departments.
+ Develop daily and weekly production schedules and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
+ Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, throughput, yield, and delivery timeliness.
+ Ensure production operations comply with internal policies, safety regulations (OSHA), and relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO).
+ Conduct team performance evaluations, manage staffing needs, and support employee training and development.
+ Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
+ Ensure the testing process validates product quality and meets all customer specifications.
+ Oversee accurate documentation of production and testing activities in ERP systems (e.g., Epicor P21).
+ Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews as needed.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready production floor.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years of production or operations management experience in a manufacturing, testing, or industrial environment.
+ Proven experience leading teams and improving production processes.
+ Strong working knowledge of safety and quality systems (OSHA, ISO, Six Sigma preferred).
+ Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor P21, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
