    _This position is on-site 4 days per week and 1 day from home. This role is based in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Basking Ridge, NJ or remote work is not possible for this role._

     

    Director, New Products and Commercial Development Team

     

    The Director, New Products and Commercial Development will support launch planning and provide input to the development team for assigned assets in Regeneron’s expansive portfolio. This will be an exciting opportunity for the candidate to partner with our Clinical Development organization in shaping the commercial vision of our New Products portfolio. In addition, this role will lead Operational Effectiveness for the New Products team, ensuring operational efficiency of the team and representation for New Products in enterprise processes.

     

    A typical day may include the following:

    + Provides commercial assessments of early-stage molecules across the Regeneron portfolio—helping to inform and shape the longer-term development strategy for each program.

    + Support the cross functional team and provide the commercial perspective on the Strategic Program Development Teams.

    + Support commercial direction and decision making to optimize success at launch across all stages of development, including early positioning, robust and relevant target product profiles, early HEOR and MA (strategy including pricing), forecasting, input into optimal Phase II/III/IV design, life-cycle management, pediatric development, and scientific /promotional communications, naming protocols and optimizing dosing and delivery strategy

    + Facilitate and collaborate with Market Access and HEOR to develop differentiated strategies and compelling value propositions to secure market access. Participate in the development of early market access strategy that spans all product indications, markets, and audiences.

    + Collaborate with marketing & sales teams, legal, regulatory, medical and market research to ensure understanding, alignment, and implementation of strategy.

    + Represents new products assessments to senior management and other internal/external partners

    + Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations of the New Products Commercial Business Unit, streamline processes, enhance New Products team effectiveness and coordinate portfolio level initiatives

    + Lead the annual strategic planning processes for New Products, delivery of long-range forecasts and resolving best allocation of resources for the brand/indication

    This role might be for you if:

    + You have a strong working knowledge of the New Products Development cycles and lifecycle opportunity assessments; commercial launch experience a plus.

    + You possess a strong science background with knowledge of cardiovascular disease, hematology, oncology, neurology, or I&I

    + Consulting and/or analyst experience a strong plus

    + Proven teammate with ability to navigate cross functionally and high degree of learning agility

    + Possess the ability to work well with, influence and provide direction to multiple functions as part of the disease team

    + Demonstrated ability in leading or influencing enterprise processes that are cross departmental

    + Operational experience managing and optimizing team processes

    To be considered you must possess:

    + Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of progressive pharmaceutical industry/relevant professional experience

    + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong relationships with internal partners, alliance partners, and Health Care Providers (HCPs).

    + Consultancy/Health equities research or working on a Biotech/Pharma commercial brand launch team experience a plus

    + Able to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast paced, continuously changing and sometimes ambigious environment with minimal oversight/direction

    + Extensive experience with managing numerous projects concurrently against stringent deadlines

    + Combines strategic thinking with strong implementation skills

    + Ability to independently prioritize requests and demonstrate long-term thinking

    + Possesses the business acumen necessary to interpret and draw business insights from data analysis to formulate recommendations and execute action plans

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement

    + Demonstrate innovative thinking and the ability to leverage experience to be successful in an entrepreneurial environment

    Salary Range (annually)

     

    $180,400.00 - $300,700.00
