Baptist Health & Rehab, a Cassia community, is hiring a Restorative Therapy Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our "best of the best" care team!  If you're passionate about making meaningful connections and supporting seniors in their wellness journey, we'd love to have you on our award winning team.

As a Restorative Therapy Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Baptist Health & Rehab, you'll work with our therapy and nursing teams to provide rehabilitation care for residents recovering from physical injuries. This includes assisting with positioning, transfers and therapeutic exercises. You will also perform 4 hours of CNA duties during your shift.

Position Type: Full-Time

Shifts:  6:00 am to 6:00 pm (6am-10am as CNA; 10a-6p as Restorative Therapy Aide)

Restorative Therapy Aide/ CNA Responsibilities:

+ Prepare residents for treatment therapy and follow individual care plans.

+ Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support.

+ Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion.

+ Document services performed on computerized charting system.

+ Prepare, clean and maintain work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.

+ Perform other duties as needed.

Restorative Therapy Aide/ CNA Qualifications:

+ Good standing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the North Dakota Registry.

+ 1+ year of LTC experience preferred, but not required.

+ Ability to use a variety of mechanical lifts, transfer belts and therapy equipment.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Must have strong communication and organizational skills.

+ Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
