    Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an Engineer II - Disposables R&D, Sustaining to join their team. As an Engineer II, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Engineer II - Disposables R&D, Sustaining

    **Location:** Plymouth, MN (Hybrid - onsite 3 days a week)

    What's the Job?

     

    + Create and maintain documentation for 3rd party suppliers, including design specifications and labeling for peritoneal dialysis disposable sets.

    + Modify and maintain design history files while performing change control assessments.

    + Collaborate closely with project managers and technical leads to achieve project commitments.

    + Adhere to design control procedures and comply with FDA and international regulations.

    + Engage in supplier relations, dedicating 25-40% of your time to managing these partnerships.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device product development, ideally 3-5 years.

    + Experience in creating and modifying medical device design outputs.

    + Familiarity with FDA Design Controls and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
