    Our client in Plano, TX is seeking an Order Processing Clerk to join their team. As an Order Processing Clerk, you will be part of the Operations Department, supporting the Order Management and Logistics Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear and professional communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset - qualities that align well with the organization’s standards for accuracy and efficiency. This position requires the ability to work independently, maintain focus on data entry tasks for extended periods, and consistently deliver high-quality, accurate work under pressure.

     

    Job Title: Order Processing Clerk

     

    Pay Range: $20 - $24/hr (depending on experience)

     

    Schedule: Day shift

     

    Job Type: Temp-to-hire

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Enter customer orders into the order management system accurately and on time

    + Review customer purchase orders for completeness and accuracy

    + Create shipments and coordinate with warehouse teams to meet customer expectations

    + Generate accurate order documentation including packing lists, commercial invoices, and bills of lading

    + Track and update internal logs and systems regarding order status and shipping progress

    + Notify customers of backorders, delays, or changes in delivery

    + Perform data validation and quality checks on all submitted orders and documentation

    + Maintain accurate and confidential records related to customer orders and company data

    + Work independently and maintain sustained focus on detailed data entry tasks

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + 2+ years of data entry experience in a fast-paced environment

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data

    + Ability to work independently and maintain focus for extended periods

    + Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy

    + Experience with CRM, ERP, or order management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, Acumatica, SAP, NetSuite)

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Proactive problem-solving and collaborative mindset

    + High school diploma or equivalent
