We’re on the hunt for a forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer to lead the charge at a growing logistics company headquartered in NYC. This is more than a back-office role — we’re looking for a strategic partner to the executive team, someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to turn numbers into action.

What You'll Own:

+ 💡 Strategy Meets Execution: Set the financial roadmap and drive key business decisions alongside leadership

+ 📊 Reporting Excellence: Lead the monthly/quarterly close and deliver financials that are timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant

+ 🏦 Audit & Compliance: Own audit readiness and maintain strong relationships with external auditors

+ 📚 Technical Accounting: Draft memos and lead resolution of complex accounting issues

+ 🧮 FP& A Leadership: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and modeling to support big-picture growth

+ 🤝 Banking & Capital Strategy: Manage lender relationships and debt strategies

+ 🧩 M& A Playmaker: Lead due diligence, valuations, and post-deal integration for acquisitions

+ 🎯 Team Development: Mentor and guide the Controller and growing finance team

+ 🔐 Controls & Risk: Implement financial controls and processes that scale

+ 🧬 Cross-Functional Partner: Collaborate with Ops, Sales, HR, and Tech to drive efficiency across the business

Requirements

What You Bring:

+ ✅ 10+ years in progressive finance roles, with 2+ years in a CFO or executive leadership role

+ 🎓 CPA strongly preferred; expert in US GAAP and audit best practices

+ 🔍 Demonstrated success in FP& A, M& A, and scaling financial operations

+ 🗣 Strong communicator and relationship builder across all levels
