Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices with precision and ensure timely completion.

• Verify invoice approvals and match purchase orders to corresponding invoices.

• Resolve discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal departments.

• Prepare and manage weekly check runs, electronic payments, and wire transfers.

• Maintain up-to-date vendor records and support 1099 reporting processes.

• Address inquiries related to accounts payable with professionalism and clarity.

• Contribute to month-end close activities and reporting requirements.

• Ensure compliance with established company policies and internal control standards. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience in a mid- to large-sized company or shared services environment.

• Preferred: Knowledge of sales/use tax and 1099 reporting regulations.
