Description We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team in Marlboro, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in managing commercial collections, resolving disputes, and ensuring timely billing and payments. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a growing company in the waste management industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee commercial collections processes to ensure timely payments.

• Resolve customer disputes efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and discrepancies.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track collections activities and prepare reports.

• Provide excellent customer service when communicating with clients regarding payment inquiries.

• Follow up with customers to recover outstanding balances and maintain accurate records.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the collections process.

• Identify opportunities to improve collections strategies and implement effective solutions.

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial collections, preferably in a similar industry.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and analysis.

• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve disputes effectively.

• Familiarity with billing and collections processes in a corporate environment.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices for collections.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
