Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to become part of our dynamic team in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a growing organization that values collaboration and growth-focused development. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple development projects.

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to support financial activities.

• Compile and submit closing pay application documents to lenders in a timely manner.

• Assist with ad hoc financial tasks as needed by the company leadership. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or development setting.

• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and month-end closing procedures.

• Experience in preparing accurate financial statements.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
