    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.     Responsibilities:

    • Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy before entering them into the system.

    • Prepare and process payments, including check runs, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.

    • Manage vendor records, including W-9 forms, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

    • Address vendor inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain strong working relationships.

    • Perform reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.

    • Reconcile the accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger for accuracy and completeness.

    • Generate and distribute accounts payable aging reports to support financial oversight.

    • Prepare and issue 1099 forms in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    • Collaborate with procurement and receiving teams to resolve payment-related issues effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment disbursements.

    • Strong knowledge of disbursement processes such as ACH, wire transfers, and check runs.

    • Proficiency in vendor management, including maintaining records and handling inquiries.

    • Familiarity with account reconciliation processes, including sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliation.

    • Experience preparing 1099 forms and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

    • Ability to generate and interpret accounts payable aging reports.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
