Description
Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and oversee the accounts payable operations within our organization in Maryville, Tennessee. This role requires a meticulous individual with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial systems and processes. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency and accuracy in payment processing while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee coding of invoices and ensure proper allocation to accounts.
• Coordinate and execute check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline accounts payable operations.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
• Utilize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle systems for accounts payable processes.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports to support financial decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
• Train and mentor team members to support their growth and operational success.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable management or supervisory roles.
• Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle financial systems.
• Strong knowledge of coding invoices, check runs, and ACH transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement business process improvements.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage a team.
