    Position Overview

    As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling of financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting the organization's overall accounting operations. Your ability to manage invoice processing, payments, and reconciliation with precision and consistency will contribute to the financial health of the company.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper coding and accurate entry into the accounting system.

    + Manage accounts payable workflows, including payment approvals and timely disbursements.

    + Review vendor bills for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

    + Reconcile vendor accounts, resolve outstanding balances, and maintain strong vendor relationships.

    + Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports related to accounts payable transactions.

    + Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and compliance with policies.

    + Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and tax requirements.

    Required Qualifications

    + Proven work experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related field.

    + Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    + Solid understanding of accounting principles and invoice processing.

    + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and find solutions independently.

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + An Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.

    + Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is beneficial.
