Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate processing of vendor payments and maintaining organized financial records. If you have a strong background in data entry and familiarity with accounting systems, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices submitted by contractors to ensure accuracy before processing payments.

• Handle vendor payment support by managing accounts and processing invoices based on service rates.

• Maintain organized records of all processed payments and associated documentation.

• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online to manage financial data effectively.

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry for vendor payment processing.

• Collaborate with other team members to manage high-volume workloads during peak seasons.

• Monitor accounts payable processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Support overall financial operations by maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably within financial operations.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle varying workloads.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak periods.

• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and vendor payment workflows.

• Excellent typing and numeric data entry skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
