Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This role involves providing comprehensive support to attorneys in areas such as estate planning, probate, and corporate law. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced legal environment and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage legal documents related to estate planning, probate, and corporate matters.

• Assist attorneys in civil litigation processes, including drafting and filing court documents.

• Coordinate and maintain attorneys' calendars to ensure deadlines and appointments are met.

• Handle e-filing and court submissions accurately and efficiently.

• Conduct research to support case preparation and legal strategies.

• Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals to facilitate case progress.

• Maintain organized records and ensure all documents are accessible and up-to-date.

• Provide administrative support by managing correspondence and tracking case timelines. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting multiple attorneys in a legal environment.

• Proficiency in e-filing and court filing procedures.

• Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and legal terminology.

• Exceptional calendar management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and legal professionals.

• Proficiency in legal software and tools for document management and research.
