Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Watsonville, California. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate payment processing, maintaining financial records, and resolving discrepancies efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Verify invoices and payment details to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with clients as necessary.

• Reconcile discrepancies in financial records by investigating and resolving issues.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts receivable documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address payment-related inquiries and concerns.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable activity for management review.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures.

• Assist in streamlining accounts receivable processes for improved efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

• Strong knowledge of invoicing and payment verification processes.

• Proficiency with accounting software and tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Degree or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
