Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring smooth and efficient front desk operations. If you have a knack for multitasking and delivering excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and attentive manner.

• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to the appropriate departments.

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor.

• Provide accurate information to callers and visitors regarding company services and policies.

• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and organizing front desk materials.

• Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable at all times.

• Coordinate and schedule appointments as needed.

• Communicate effectively with team members to relay important messages and updates. Requirements • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.

• Proficiency in managing a multi-line phone system or switchboard with 1 to 10 lines.

• Strong verbal communication skills and an attentive telephone manner.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with basic office equipment and software.

• Exceptional customer service skills and a welcoming attitude.

• Availability to work part-time hours as required.
