Description We are looking for a skilled Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Baytown, Texas. In this role, you will oversee and manage credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments and minimizing delinquencies. This is a Contract to permanent position within the financial services industry, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor delinquent accounts, ensuring effective recovery of payments and collateral.

• Supervise and train a team of collectors, providing ongoing support and guidance.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for credit and collections processes.

• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

• Approve credit applications based on thorough analysis of customer profiles and financial data.

• Lead B2B and consumer collections efforts, maintaining strong relationships with clients.

• Schedule and oversee training sessions to enhance team performance and knowledge.

• Review and analyze credit reports to identify risks and opportunities.

• Dispose of repossessed collateral in a timely and efficient manner.

• Monitor and improve collection strategies to achieve organizational goals. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit and collections management.

• Strong expertise in commercial and consumer collections.

• Proven ability to conduct credit analysis and approve credit applications.

• Familiarity with B2B collections processes and strategies.

• Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures.

• Skilled in employee training and conducting team sessions.

• Knowledge of audit practices and compliance requirements.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
