Role Overview:
As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy during the company’s transition to new systems. You’ll juggle responsibilities that include tracking accounts receivable, processing accounts payable, managing deposits, and reconciling transactions.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Accounts Payable & Receivable: Post customer transactions, process vendor invoices, and handle monthly check runs.
+ Bank Deposits: Manage daily deposits across multiple accounts and support monthly bank reconciliations.
+ Data Management: Maintain files, verify expense reports, and address discrepancies.
+ System Utilization: Work through paper-driven and technology-supported processes, integrating legacy systems into the company’s modern accounting platforms.
+ Multi-Entity Support: Oversee financial tasks for a mix of entities with varying transaction levels.

Requirements
Who We’re Looking For:
Education:
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for Accounting or related fields.
Experience:
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation.
+ At least 1 year using systems like QuickBooks, Sage, or comparable accounting software.
Skills:
+ Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and office systems, including 10-key calculators.
+ Detail-Oriented: Dependable with strong organizational capabilities and confidentiality.
+ Adaptable: Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
