    Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative SAP Partner Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions that align with our clients' business objectives and technological needs. You will work closely with our partners, clients, and internal teams to develop and execute complex SAP projects.

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

    Key job responsibilities

    1. Design and architect SAP solutions that meet client requirements and leverage the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

    2. Collaborate with SAP partners to understand their product offerings and integrate them effectively into our solutions.

    3. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-sales to implementation and support.

    4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.

    5. Create detailed solution designs, technical specifications, and architectural diagrams.

    6. Conduct technical evaluation and provide recommendations on SAP and AWS product selection and implementation strategies.

    7. Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

    8. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the SAP practice.

    9. Participate in pre-sales activities, including RFP responses and client presentations.

    10. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalation support as needed.

    A day in the life

A day in the life of an SAP Partner Solutions Architect centers around driving technological innovation and strategic direction across multiple AWS engineering, partners and go-to-market teams. The architect starts by reviewing emerging SAP technologies and trends, particularly focusing on how new capabilities in CloudERP transform client operations. They lead a technical steering committee meeting where they present a vision for implementing AI-driven automation within SAP S/4HANA landscapes. The afternoon involves authoring a tech paper on the convergence of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) with AWS cloud services. They then facilitate a partner innovation workshop, where they explore ways to combine SAP's core capabilities with partner solutions to create unique market offerings for AWS customers. The day concludes with mentoring the generalist SAs, sharing insights on enterprise architecture patterns and hosting a technical round table on sustainable IT practices within SAP ecosystems.
