Description
Northern Delaware client seeks a Payroll Coordinator with proven experience processing, weekly/biweekly/overtime payroll. This Payroll Coordinator will process weekly and biweekly payroll ensuring accurate calculations of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions. In this role, you will also prepare and distribute payroll reports for internal and external use, review and audit timekeeping records, maintain and update employee payroll records, respond to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions and timekeeping, coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate benefit and tax deductions, and stay updated on payroll laws and best practices to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong systems experience running report analytics, labor distribution and knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
Major Responsibilities
• Review and approve timesheets
• Process weekly payroll
• Maintain and update employee information
• Assist with tax reporting and compliance
• Provide administrative support
• Process garnishments and withholdings
• Review benefit invoices for payment
• Reconcile account inquiries
• Assist with vendor invoicing
Requirements
The ideal Payroll Coordinator will have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Payroll Coordinator role include and are not limited to:
• 2-4 years of multi-state payroll experience, 401k, time attendance for over 500 people
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• ADP or Paylocity a plus
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
