Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits for our employees while maintaining compliance with legal requirements. The ideal candidate will excel at providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Address employee inquiries regarding paychecks, benefits, deductions, and time tracking systems with professionalism and clarity.
• Manage and validate payroll components such as accruals, garnishments, retirement contributions, 1095s, and W2s.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring compliance with legal standards and preparedness for audits.
• Update and manage employee information in payroll and vendor systems to maintain data accuracy.
• Oversee benefit changes and deductions, ensuring compliance with plan guidelines and timely implementation.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including setup and review of benefit plans.
• Collaborate with benefit vendors to address file feed issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and support organizational training and HR initiatives with efficiency.
Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll.
• Familiarity with managing payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of benefits administration processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to stay informed about and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws.
• Experience in producing accurate reports and managing HR-related administrative tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
