    Network Operations Lead

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Lead to oversee and manage the daily operations of a secure DoD PKI infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in network operations, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience supporting secure, high-availability environments in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and PKI standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead a team of network engineers and administrators in support of a mission-critical DoD PKI environment.

    + Oversee network performance, availability, and security across multiple classified and unclassified domains.

    + Ensure operational compliance with DoD cybersecurity regulations, including DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, and DoD 8500-series.

    + Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of PKI hardware and software (e.g., HSMs, OCSP responders, CRL distribution points, Certificate Authorities).

    + Manage change requests, incident response, and problem resolution for network-related issues in PKI services.

    + Maintain and improve network monitoring, alerting, and documentation standards.

    + Coordinate with cybersecurity, system administration, and engineering teams to ensure integrated system performance.

    + Participate in external audits, inspections, and security assessments.

    + Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and disaster recovery plans.

    + Provide regular reporting on network health, incident metrics, and operational KPIs.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligibility); must be a US Citizen

    + Favorable Adjudicated Tier 5 Level Investigation

    + CISSP or equivalent

    + Experience with DoD/NSS and Only-Locally-Trusted PKI Operations and Maintenance
