    Supply Chain System Administrator

    *Hybrid Option Available*

     

    The University of Miami/UHealth department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Supply Chain System Administrator to work in Hialeah, FL. The Supply Chain System Administrator leads and manages the integration and maintenance of key data elements—such as corporations, cost centers, inventory locations, and interface codes—across ERP, MMIS, and EPIC systems. The incumbent coordinates with IT and sourcing teams to resolve system issues, maintain data accuracy, and support user access and training. The position also oversees contract loading, reporting, and serves as a technical liaison between purchasing and suppliers.

     

    + Leads and manages the addition of corporations, cost centers, inventory locations, and items to the department's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MMIS system.

    + Leads and manages the addition of interface codes and charge numbers to the Master Item File for the EPIC electronic medical record/billing system and the Point-of-Use systems.

    + Collaborates with Sourcing to update supplier data after onboarding into the ERP system.

    + Manages and oversees interface issues with IT, EPIC, Pyxis, and Point-of-Use systems.

    + Manages the Materials Management Information System (MMIS) in relation to JIT processes with 3rd party distribution companies.

    + Leads and manages MMIS testing functions.

    + Coordinates, leads, and manages the unlocking of accounts and activation of new users.

    + Leads and manages the functions and duties associated with contract loading in the MMIS.

    + Provides and manages security access to the MMIS system.

    + Leads and manages the generation of reports from the MMIS as requested.

    + Assists trainers as needed with MMIS training.

    + Serves as liaison between Purchasing and suppliers on technical issues.

    + Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

    Core Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

    + Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
