    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting a client in their search to hire a Licensed Mental Health Professional in Baltimore, MD. (Rockville, MD)

     

    Are you a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We have an exciting direct-hire opportunity in Baltimore, MD, where you’ll play a critical role in providing comprehensive mental health services as part of a multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team.

    Position Overview

    As a key member of the ACT Team, you will assess, plan, coordinate, and provide treatment and counseling to clients while collaborating with families and the community to support overall mental well-being. Your work will help individuals navigate health-related challenges and access essential services for a better quality of life.

     

    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

     

    Salary: $70,000 – $76,000 (based on experience, education, and location)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Client Assessment & Treatment

    • Conduct screening interviews and comprehensive mental health assessments.

    • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial needs.

    • Provide ongoing individual, group, and family counseling as outlined in the treatment plan.

    • Educate clients and families about symptom management, illness recovery, and coping strategies.

    Care Coordination & Advocacy

    • Identify and address service gaps, barriers to treatment, and access to community resources.

    • Advocate for clients in obtaining essential benefits under local, state, and federal programs.

    • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and the surrounding community.

    Case Management & Crisis Intervention

    • Manage a caseload of 10-12 clients, ensuring ongoing support and coordination of care.

    • Provide crisis intervention services to prevent hospitalization and stabilize individuals in crisis.

    • Assist in securing safe, affordable housing and meeting clients' basic needs before other interventions.

    Daily Living Support & Community Resources

    • Teach and support daily living skills, including money management, hygiene, nutrition, and transportation.

    • Arrange and coordinate medical, dental, and psychiatric care for clients.

    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate with external agencies to enhance support services.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Professional Counseling, or a related field (preferred).

    • 1-3 years of post-master’s clinical experience in a mental health setting.

    • Active Licensed Mental Health Professional in Maryland.

    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
