    • Now Hiring: Laboratory Assistant – Biological Research

    **Location:** Durham, NC

    **Pay:** $16–$17/hr.

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, Day Shift

    **Type:** Contract-to-Hire

    • **IMPORTANT: You must be comfortable working with insects.**

    • What You’ll Do:

    + Assist scientists with **biological experiments**

    + **Rear and culture insects** for crop technology studies

    + Support insect-rearing teams and track progress

    + Follow set instructions and lab protocols

    + Record data, **clean equipment** , maintain **lab cleanliness**

    • You’re a Good Fit If You:

    + Don’t mind working with bugs 🐛 (Seriously— **this is a must** !)

    + Can follow **clear instructions** and repeat tasks precisely

    + Are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a lab setting

    + Have **any** of the following:

    + Experience in a **lab, insectary, or greenhouse**

    + An **associate’s or bachelor’s degree** (helpful, not mandatory)
