About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Senior Accountant** to join our dynamic Accounting team. This role plays a key part in month-end close activities, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance across various operational areas. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations (Cash, AR, Accruals, Prepayments, etc.) with supporting analysis.
+ Maintain lease accounting schedules in compliance with ASC 842.
+ Compile and distribute monthly financial reporting packages for internal stakeholders.
+ File periodic sales tax returns and accrue use tax as needed.
+ Reconcile E-commerce segment activity and post necessary adjustments.
+ Monitor accounts receivable activity; review aging reports and perform bad debt analysis.
+ Ensure timely renewal of business licenses and permits in compliance with governmental requirements.
+ Assist in preparing quarterly review and year-end audit schedules.
+ Generate ad hoc financial reports and perform data analysis as needed.
+ Support cross-functional coverage through process documentation and SOP creation.
+ Adhere to internal controls and the company's Financial Integrity Policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year institution.
+ 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience including month-end close and account reconciliations.
+ Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
+ Prior experience in public accounting and CPA designation preferred but not required.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements).
+ Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with large data sets.
+ Highly organized and capable of meeting deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
+ Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
+ Experience with Oracle Fusion and/or budgeting tools like PBCS is a plus.
