• ERA Specialist, Cash Management

    This Role:

    As an ERA Specialist at LogixHealth, you will work independently to provide cutting-edge solutions that will directly improve business operations. You’ll contribute to our fast-paced, collaborative environment and will bring your expertise to ensure timely filing for ERA 835 enrollment along with retrieval of 835, and placement of 835 into Allscripts and ftp/parser/transfer process.

     

    The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and third-party billing experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Retrieve 835 files

    + Retrieve and post 835s to the correct client in Allscripts PM daily

    + Perform 835 transfer push/pull process as assigned by manager

    + Research / Enroll 835s for billing clients

    + Perform audits on missing 835s

    + Manage/setup sender/receiver and insurance style

    + Provide cross coverage or backup support as assigned by manager to ensure continuity of operations

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word

    + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong attention to detail

    Preferred:

    + One to two years related experience with prior experience of EDI operations

    + Prior experience with third party medical billing
