    Position Purpose

    As a Senior Sourcing Analyst, you will lead cross-functional partners to write and implement SLAs and critical vendor performance processes in alignment with business needs, focused on transportation and distribution needs. You will also support and manage RFx processes and provide contract status reports to stakeholders.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Prepare and manage the negotiation process utilizing RFIs, RFPs and RFQs (effectively utilizing sourcing technology).

    + Develop negotiation strategy, fallback positions, and execute contracts terms and conditions that meet sourcing strategy goals and company risk allocation requirements.

    + Utilize robust communication mechanisms with business teams to gather their business requirements, present negotiation results and facilitate supplier selection recommendations.

    + Drive sourcing and contract negotiation processes to closure.

    + Work closely with business teams to gain a foundational understanding of their goals/processes and ensure sourcing strategies align.

    + Maintain knowledge of market trends including rigorous analysis of market drivers, cost structures and technical improvements for assigned categories.

    + Ensure pricing levels are at a reasonable value for products and services being purchased.

    + Generate regular metrics on spend influence, negotiated saves and vendor utilization.

    + Ensure sourcing processes and outcomes comply with related company policies.

    + Partner with in-house counsel to navigate complex terms and secure appropriate approvals.

    + Partner with Information Security and the Architecture Review Board to ensure alignment to data security approvals and technology roadmap.

    + Assist with Indirect Sourcing process improvements and SOP development.

    + Write and implement SLAs and critical vendor performance processes in alignment with business team needs

    Position Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or similar, or equivalent work experience.

    + 5+ years of experience leading cross functional sourcing projects, strategic sourcing, procurement or analytics, specifically within the transportation and distribution categories.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

     

    + Experience with contract terms and conditions, Statements of Work, Service Schedules, SLAs, supplier performance KPIs desired.

    + Direct experience within, or supporting, Transportation and Distribution Operations a plus

    + Proven negotiation, analytical, problem solving and project management skills

    + Excellent Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

    + Business negotiation experience or applicable experience where similar skills are required.

    + Familiarity with contract management, data security, and AI utilized in a business setting.

    Working Conditions:

    + Hybrid schedule: three days in the office, two days remote.

    + Standard business hours, Monday-Friday, with occasional evening or weekend support as needed.

    Salary Pay Range: $82,700.00 -$110,300.00
