Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and driving strategic decision-making processes. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future state and execution of business transactions.
Responsibilities
+ Manage accounting and bookkeeping functions, ensuring compliance with local accounting and tax rules.
+ Oversee cash flow and financing activities to optimize working capital items.
+ Facilitate financial planning including budgets and estimates, and ensure quality control in bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
+ Ensure GDPR compliance and attend operational HR areas and processes.
+ Act as a liaison with banks, insurance providers, brokers, auditors, tax auditors, and lawyers.
+ Ensure the Finance team has the right resources and competences.
+ Handle personnel cases with potential legal implications alongside the Managing Director and external HR partners.
+ Manage payroll duties including time registration, holiday, sickness transactions, and act as the contact for the payroll agency.
+ Oversee tax reporting, monthly and annual financial statement closings, and payment processes.
+ Coordinate financial duties such as cash flow forecasting, VAT refunds, and attend board meetings.
+ Perform financial controlling and reporting duties before submitting monthly reports to headquarters.
+ Participate in annual audit and account processes.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of management or leadership experience.
+ 5-7 years of experience in an accounting role.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline such as Business or Economics.
+ Experience in a production, logistics, or service industry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ MBA or Master's level education related to Accounting or Business.
+ Certifications related to Accounting, Finance, or Business.
+ Experience working in an international organization with remote leadership.
+ Experience managing or running a small-to-mid-sized office.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
Opportunity for yearly bonus of $10-16k (profit sharing program)401k program, health benefits, etc.Will be a instrumental part of the Leadership team for US location, with a heavy influence on decision making, future state, and execution - working directly under the Managing Director (Damien Le Gac) and dotted line to CFO in Denmark (Tine Knarreborg)Will be go-to person for all US affairs and business transactions (including real estate, insurance, taxes, etc.)
