    MUST HAVE Skills & Qualifications

     

    + HS Diploma or equivalent

    + 1 year of AP/AR experience required (more experience for the AR role)

    + 1 year of Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

    + Excel - add and subtract, multiply and divide within Excel, sorting and filtering

    + ERP system experience and Manufacturing experience

    Job Description

    The AP/AR Clerk is responsible for supporting the accounting department’s needs and administrative duties in a safe and efficient manner to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.

    Essential Duties:

    -Perform daily Billing.

     

    -Posting daily Cash: lockbox/wires.

     

    -Investigate, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies.

     

    -Make Collection calls.

     

    -Prepare weekly AR Aging reporting, customer account status and maintain collection notes.

     

    -Process Credit Memos and research any discrepancies.

     

    -Sets up New Customers and maintain all customer records.

     

    -Perform projects assigned by Management.

     

    -Prepares timely month end closing reports.

     

    -Comply with all safety requirements, utilize the STOP program, and maintain clean/orderly work areas.

     

    -Successfully complete all required trainings, and attend/participate in required team meetings.

    AP

    -Data Entry, analyzing, auditing documents,

     

    -three way matching

     

    -invoicing review and entry (utility bill) and freight invoice

     

    -sub contractors from manufacturing site

     

    -Purchase Orders - materials site and overhead

     

    -General Ledger - Dynamics

     

    -100 invoices per week per person

    AR

    -Customer outreach, billing, handling lockbox, collection calls, reporting, end month losing

     

    -email outreach - 10% phones

    -Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making.

     

    -Able to perform under deadlines.

     

    -Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.

     

    -Can manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
