    Payments Analyst | 100% Remote

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payments Analyst to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in optimizing our global payment infrastructure and supporting seamless online checkout experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the eCommerce payments ecosystem, with hands-on experience managing Payment Service Provider (PSP) relationships such as PayPal, Stripe, Adyen, and others.

    Responsibilities

    + Act as the primary liaison between the company and our PSPs, monitoring service levels, performance metrics, escalations, and contract compliance.

    + Collaborate with internal eCommerce engineering and product teams to enhance the checkout flow, reduce friction, and improve conversion rates.

    + Conduct regular analysis of payment data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities for cost savings or conversion improvements.

    + Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on new payment method implementations, geographical expansion, and other strategic initiatives.

    + Assist in ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS and other relevant regulations; support internal audits and risk assessments related to payments.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong understanding of e-commerce payments.

    + Experience in payment analysis and reporting.

    + Familiarity with payment operations, including transaction processing, chargebacks, and settlement flows.

    + Excellent communication and vendor management skills.

    + Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools; experience with SQL is a plus.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a payments or eCommerce-related role, preferably with exposure to PSPs like PayPal, Stripe, Adyen, etc.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and drive insights.

    + Experience working closely with engineering and product teams to support technical integrations and enhancements.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This is a remote position within the Finance - Treasury / Payments department, reporting to the Payment Operations Manager.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
