Job Title: Leasing Specialist

Job Description

As a Leasing Specialist, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, assisting with the advertising, social media, branding, and marketing of properties. You will tour and present the property and available units to prospective residents, track their information, and drive the leasing process. You will manage the leasing and renewal process from start to finish while adhering to regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you will build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing their requests, questions, and concerns, and make referrals as appropriate.

Responsibilities

+ Schedule and perform apartment move-ins and move-outs to ensure readiness for new residents.

+ Plan and coordinate fun and festive resident functions throughout the year.

+ Maintain maximum occupancy of properties by achieving or exceeding operational metrics.

+ Advise residents on rent collection options and basic process questions.

+ Conduct property, building walks (interiors and exteriors), and unit walks/inspections to ensure the attractive appearance of the property.

+ Follow and maintain property security and key or electronic Fob management.

+ Communicate professionally and effectively with residents and team members through active listening.

+ Participate in community initiatives and organizations.

+ Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

+ Work independently and collaboratively with other personnel and management.

+ Represent oneself and the company in a professional and positive manner.

+ Attend required company meetings and training, participating in constructive discussions.

+ Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.

+ Proactively seek and participate in company-sponsored training to advance knowledge and skill set.

+ Maintain a positive working relationship with peers, management, and support resources.

Essential Skills

+ High school degree or equivalent.

+ Prior experience in property management or a related industry preferred.

+ Leasing/sales skills with confidence and drive to close leases.

+ Customer service experience and strong customer service mindset.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Self-driven with the ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance.

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Health Dental visionafter 30 days start accruing up to 2 weeks pto year 1 and then tiers off of that the longer you are there.Flexibility

This is a fully onsite position in Fargo,ND.
