    Job Title: Staff Accountant - Credit Card

    Job Description

    This position involves the daily review of credit card accounts, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded. It is crucial during financial month-end and year-end close, requiring preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for general ledger accounts.

    Responsibilities

    + Review company's credit card accounts daily, ensuring proper transaction recording.

    + Assist customer service in resolving store transaction queries.

    + Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations for various general ledger accounts.

    + Check general ledger balances for all designated accounts, verify transaction validity, and communicate with other departments regarding account activity.

    + Verify validity of credit card transactions, obtain the proper support, and communicate with other departments regarding activity posted on the accounts.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in general ledger, journal entry, reconciliation, acquisitions, and data analysis.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

    + 2+ years of relevant work experience.

    + Understanding of accounting procedures, concepts, and internal control processes.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
