    **Job Title:** 2 nd shift Industrial Maintenance Technician

    **Location:** Compton, CA

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Honeywell Intelligrated is a leading provider of automated material handling solutions. We are seeking an **Industrial Maintenance Technician** to support a retail distribution center in Compton, CA. This role involves providing onsite technical support for the 2nd (afternoon/night) shift.

     

    **Shift:** Monday – Friday 2pm to 12:30am

    Key Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, sorters, motors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

    + Maintain and replace components such as belts, pulleys, chains, bearings, motors, and electrical devices.

    + Utilize handheld devices and mobile apps for work orders, data entry, and reporting.

    + Follow safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, PPE) and maintain a safe work environment.

    + Perform tasks like wiring, using multi-meters, and interpreting schematics.

    Physical Requirements

    + Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and climbing.

    + Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours and work at heights.

    + Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and work overtime if needed.

    Compensation

    The annual base salary range for this position is $63,000 - $68,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

    The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 2+ years of experience with industrial mechanical/electrical systems.

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    WE VALUE

    + 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems.

    + Vocational or technical degree in Mechanical/Electrical fields.

    + Understanding of electrical schematics and troubleshooting skills.
