Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within the Productivity Solutions and Services business at Honeywell. You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. This position may require occasional travel (domestic & international) as well as being contacted off hours and weekends. A passport will be required. Customer interaction or equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities:

+ Understand, estimate, review, and resolve software/build/field/internal requests.

+ Work with internal leadership, project management, and offering teams to estimate and plan product updates and feature requests.

+ Design, develop and work with internal and external teams on creation and deployment of new features.

+ Convey results of design investigations to stakeholders in order to help drive future product direction.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ 6+ years of software development or software engineering experience

+ 4+ years of object-oriented development experience

+ 4+ years of advanced software development experience with Java, C#, or comparable

WE VALUE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science

+ Experience with Honeywell Voice-based products or related technologies.

+ Android Mobile application development experience.

+ Experience in developing applications using various development tools/systems (e.g. Git, C#, .NET, experience with MAUI a plus)

+ Ability to support full software lifecycle activities including supporting/addressing customer and field escalations, troubleshooting, and patch releases.

+ Supply chain experience.

+ Practical knowledge and use of development IDEs and source code tools

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Familiarity with Continuous Software Delivery and Deployment

+ Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools/practices (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)

+ Experience with source control and bug tracking tools (e.g. GitHub, BitBucket, Jira)

+ Experience with data analytics and/or machine learning tools.

+ Experience executing Agile software methodology

+ Knowledge of test-driven development

+ Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.

+ Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.

+ Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts

+ Experience with managing build processes

+ Ability to lead others and own/champion product direction
