    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on electrical systems and PLCs to support the integration and modification of new machinery and automation systems into our production lines. This role involves equipment setup, AutoCAD updates, and close collaboration with various technical components.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the installation and modification of new industrial equipment, such as machining centers and grinders.

    + Assist with line changes to accommodate new machinery and automation systems, including loaders, conveyors, and part handling.

    + Modify and maintain AutoCAD drawings for panel and plant layouts.

    + Write and update equipment specifications and documentation.

    + Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting, with a preference for Mitsubishi systems, including GOT interface work.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of equipment into automated lines.

    + Provide electrical support and hands-on assistance during equipment setup and commissioning.

    + Understand robotic systems, with no major robot changes expected currently.

    Essential Skills

    + Manufacturing engineering expertise.

    + Process engineering and process improvement experience.

    + Experience with manufacturing and automation equipment.

    + Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably Mitsubishi.

    + Knowledge of lean manufacturing and project management.

    + Continuous improvement methodologies.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3–5 years of relevant experience in equipment installation, automation, or maintenance.

    + Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC logic, and automation functionality.

    + Experience with AutoCAD for panel and plant layout modifications.

    + Background in maintenance or hands-on technical roles is advantageous.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a manufacturing environment with core hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The role may involve some overtime and weekend work during shutdowns or ramp-up periods. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, emphasizing safety, quality, and innovation.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
