Job Title: Water Wastewater EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in municipal water design or treatment, including culinary or sewer water treatment. The role requires leading a team of three Engineers in Training (EITs) on various municipal water-related projects. The position demands proficiency in booster pump stations, water tanks, water line replacement, and a comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and water modeling. Experience with lift stations and treatment in either wastewater or culinary water is essential. The engineer will collaborate with city and state officials on diverse projects.

Responsibilities

+ Lead a team of three Engineers in Training (EITs) on municipal water-related projects.

+ Design and manage booster pump stations, water tanks, and water line replacement projects.

+ Collaborate with city and state officials to ensure project success.

+ Apply expertise in hydraulics and water modeling to enhance project outcomes.

+ Oversee treatment processes in wastewater or culinary water facilities.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in civil engineering with a focus on water treatment.

+ Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

+ Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

+ Experience in project management and water/water resources engineering.

+ Knowledge of pumping stations, water distribution, and wastewater engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 4+ years of civil engineering experience in water treatment.

+ Experience with water modeling software.

+ Strong communication skills for working with officials and team members.

Work Environment

The preferred work environment is in the office five days a week, from 8 am to 5 pm, with hourly compensation and overtime pay at 1.5x the regular rate. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
