Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
The team member will play a crucial role in identifying design solutions and defining feature requirements for machine connectivity solutions. Responsibilities include the design, validation, and maintenance of both hardware and software components for mobile construction vehicle control systems and related IoT systems. This role is within the Global Product Development team.
Responsibilities
+ Identify design solutions for machine connectivity.
+ Define feature requirements for mobile construction vehicle control systems.
+ Design, validate, and maintain hardware and software components.
+ Work within the Global Product Development team.
+ Implement and test cloud and mobile applications for enhanced machine connectivity and control.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent.
+ 5-plus years of related experience.
+ Experience with CANBus communication.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and visualization.
+ Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Azure.
+ Experience working with data in SQL and NoSQL databases.
+ Understanding of common IoT architectures and tools.
+ Proficient in applying Agile design methodology and tools.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Experience with automotive or heavy-duty equipment.
+ Exposure to embedded applications on microcontrollers and real-time operating systems.
+ Experience working with CAN and the J1939 protocol.

Work Environment
The team member will work within the Connected Solutions engineering group to design, implement, and test cloud and mobile applications enabling enhanced levels of machine connectivity and control. The work environment promotes a culture that encourages innovation and technical challenges. Benefits include 2 weeks of vacation and 10 paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $64.00/hr.
