Job Title: BIM TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BIM Technician to join our BIM Team. This role involves supporting the development and coordination of Building Information Modeling for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems in commercial and industrial construction projects. The BIM Technician will collaborate directly with BIM Coordinators and managers to assist in creating drawings and assemblies.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the creation and maintenance of BIM Models in Revit.

+ Add elements to drawings and update/add annotations to shop drawings.

+ Support coordination efforts by identifying and resolving clashes using Navisworks.

+ Produce accurate and detailed shop drawings.

+ Ensure project drawings follow the appropriate schedule and updated specifications.

+ Work closely with the field team to support installation processes.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of professional experience in the MEP BIM field.

+ Proficiency in Revit and experience gained professionally or through education.

+ Willingness to learn and develop towards being a BIM Coordinator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in MEP Revit modeling.

+ Potential to grow into a full-fledged BIM Coordinator role.

Work Environment

The BIM Technician will have their own cubicle space in the office, surrounded by the BIM team and nearby offices. While most team members work primarily in the office, there is flexibility for 1-3 days of remote work after the initial 60 days of training. The office hours are flexible, with the team typically starting between 7-9 AM and working an 8-hour day. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
