    We are seeking several highly skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineers with over four years of experience, as well as a Project Engineer, to join our growing office in New York City. The designers will have experience in rail and transit design and will be responsible for providing conceptual, permitting, and final designs for a transit project in NYC. They will ensure engineering design services conform to applicable codes and standards, develop studies and reports for various stages of work, and prepare technical specifications and construction cost estimates.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide conceptual, permitting, and final design for transit projects in NYC.

    + Ensure engineering design services conform to applicable codes and standards.

    + Develop studies and reports for various stages of work.

    + Prepare technical specifications and construction cost estimates.

    + Handle technical design on aviation, transportation, highway, and roadway projects.

    + Engage in rail, transit, and MTA project design.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in designing transportation, rail, and MTA projects.

    + Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads.

    + Experience with DOT and MTA projects.

    + Ability to handle technical design in aviation, transportation, highway, and roadway projects.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + EIT Preferred.

    + Experience in land development, site development, grading, drainage, site planning, and highway design.

    Work Environment

    The role offers a hybrid schedule with office attendance required twice a week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with quick growth opportunities and the chance to wear many hats. Our firm, although small, has a strong backlog of interesting projects in New York, Chicago, and Indy. The New York office is fairly new, providing room for growth and involvement in all areas of the business from design to business development, and project pursuits.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
