Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
Responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Analyze the results of inspection and validation protocols for products, processes, and equipment. Generate, analyze, and report on the levels of product quality through various statistical process control techniques. Participate in continuous improvement projects and support and maintain failure analysis processes.
Responsibilities
+ Manage projects and processes while working independently with limited supervision.
+ Organize project teams and assign individual responsibilities.
+ Develop project schedules and determine resource requirements.
+ Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing.
+ Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards.
+ Identify and resolve obstacles to completing projects on time and within budget.
+ Manage multiple, interrelated projects.
+ Integrate customer or vendor tasks into the project plan and track and review deliverables.
+ Evaluate and implement new operations technology and equipment.
+ Initiate continuous process improvements to improve operational effectiveness.
+ Assist in the identification and implementation of cost optimization and reduction initiatives.
+ Provide engineering support as needed for the operations team.
+ Support the start-up and integration of new operations projects.
+ Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding environmental protection, fire prevention, and occupational health and safety.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years experience in Project Management.
+ Experience in Life Sciences - medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology.
+ Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Cross-functional experience with international teams.
+ Proficiency in SAP, Engineering, and Healthcare.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 5+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred (plastic components, medical devices, injection molding, automation).
+ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or process engineering or equivalent experience.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work in an interruption-prone environment.
+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ SAP knowledge preferred.
+ Business and commercial acumen.
+ Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Complex problem-solving capabilities.
+ Commitment to workplace safety.
+ Good knowledge of operations quality tools.
+ Strong organizational ability.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Work Environment
The role will be based in a brand new, clean facility in Flowery Branch. The site spans 300,000 square feet and focuses on manufacturing high-precision drug delivery devices, surgical tools, and industrial products. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art automated machines and robots. It will eventually be FDA regulated, supporting drug delivery, healthcare, and industrial products, with potential expansion into consumer products in the future.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
