    Hiring for Laser Cutting Machine Operator in Wellford, SC pay up to $25/hr.

    Job Description

    The candidate will operate laser cutting machines, which involves manual loading and unloading of heavy metal, requiring repetitive lifting. They will load metal parts or sheet metal, adjust the machine to the appropriate specifications, make the cuts, and then unload the material.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate laser cutting machines with precision.

    + Manually load and unload heavy metal parts or sheet metal.

    + Adjust machine settings to achieve precise cuts according to specifications.

    + Perform repetitive lifting tasks.

    + Ensure quality and accuracy in metal fabrication.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation.

    + Ability to perform manually intensive labor.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred experience with laser cutting, though training is available for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

    + Familiarity with using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.

    Work at a full-service precision metal fabricator specializing in laser material processing technology. Our facilities are located in Columbus, OH and Wellford, SC, providing services such as laser flat and tube cutting, press brake forming, robotic welding, manual welding, drilling, tapping, machining, powder and wet painting, and other finishing needs.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wellford, South Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
