Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker in the rubber shop, where you will step into the role of a 'Rubber Tech'. In this position, you will utilize micrometers, calipers, and material handling techniques without the use of forklifts. You'll work with basic hand and power tools to complete projects. You will be handling rubber materials similar to those used at grocery store checkout counters, as well as larger rolls used on conveyors at manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

+ Operate hand and power tools to assist in project completion.

+ Conduct quality checks and ensure all products meet specified standards.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production processes.

+ Communicate and collaborate with office staff to ensure order accuracy and professionalism.

+ Handle materials and assist with assembly tasks in the shop.

Essential Skills

+ 6 plus months of experience in a shop or manufacturing setting.

+ No more than 3 absences in the last 6 months.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to perform quality checks and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working in a rubber shop.

+ Experience in mechanics.

Work Environment

Our facility is divided into two main areas: an office setting with approximately 25 individuals, and a production/shop area where you will primarily work. Occasionally, you will communicate with office staff, emphasizing the importance of professionalism.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
