Job Title: Warehouse Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Laborer for a first shift position running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must possess at least one year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. The most important trait is the ability to take direction well and translate it into action.

Responsibilities

+ Clean and reorganize the warehouse.

+ Pick and pack products efficiently.

+ Perform basic packaging and labeling tasks.

+ Load and unload materials.

+ Operate a pallet jack safely.

+ Assist with shipping and receiving operations.

+ Conduct local deliveries using a small box truck.

+ Drive a sit-down forklift as needed.

Essential Skills

+ At least one year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

+ Ability to follow directions and implement them effectively.

+ Proficiency in general labor tasks such as packing, picking, and material handling.

+ Experience with pallet jacks and basic warehouse operations.

+ Clean driving record for local deliveries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners is beneficial.

Work Environment

The position is located in a warehouse environment, which can become hot during the summer months. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
