    About the Role

     

    Currently hiring for a **FULL TIME** and **LONG TERM** opportunity with this manufacturing company in the **Salem, NJ** area for a **warehouse/ forklift operator** position. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join the team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in our warehouse operations by safely and efficiently operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks, manage inventory, and support shipping and receiving functions. Prior experience operating the forklift is required for this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers.

    + Use an RF scanner to track and manage inventory.

    + Perform shipping and receiving duties with accuracy and attention to detail.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

    What You Bring

    + Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift.

    + Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience.

    + Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems.

    + Strong attention to safety and detail.

    Nice to Have

    + Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to work in environments with allergens (milk, egg, soy, etc.).

    + Interest in long-term growth—union membership eligibility after 6 months.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
