Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join a major new build industrial project valued at $1,000,000,000. The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman or Master Electrician license and the ability to lead apprentices on large-scale industrial projects. You will need to proficiently read blueprints and schematics to determine work scope, material quantities, and sizes required. A strong understanding of various industrial facility systems including structural, electrical, and plumbing is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics proficiently.
+ Understand and apply electrical code knowledge on the job.
+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to NEC guidelines.
+ Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and estimators.
+ Work independently with minimal supervision while guiding apprentices.
+ Bend and install conduit, and utilize standard electrical testing equipment.
+ Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts confidently.
+ Communicate project status through phone and email.
+ Apply knowledge of policies and procedures within the Electrical Division.
Essential Skills
+ Journeyman or Master Electrician license
+ Proficient blueprint and schematic reading
+ Strong knowledge of electrical codes
+ Ability to lead apprentices
+ Proficient in conduit bending and installation
+ Experience with electrical systems in industrial settings
+ Ability to work independently
+ Operation of heavy machinery such as forklifts
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with high voltage wiring and cable installation
+ Troubleshooting electrical schematics
+ Experience in electrical maintenance

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Hemlock, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
